Once you are happy with your itinerary, we have provided you with a quote and confirmed availability for your required date(s) a secure online payment via CyberSource is required to secure your booking.  We will email the secure payment link in order for payment to be made.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKING:

The following T&C's will form the basis of your contract.  Please read these carefully as they set our rights and obligations.  By asking to confirm your booking we assume that you have read these terms and agree to them:

PAYMENT: Bookings must be secured by a deposit of a minimum of 50% of the total booking value. This deposit is non-refundable unless we cancel your tour.   For bookings of $500 or less payment in full is required.  Full payment must be made at least 30 days prior to your tour date.  

​

Payment can either be made by a secure online link via CyberSource or bank transfer.

​

Should your tour date be within 30 days of booking 100% non-refundable payment is due.

​

Please note a 3.5% processing fee applies, per transaction.  Unfortunately these are the terms of our payment provider, CyberSource and not charges applied by Authentic Laos Travel.  The processing fee will be added to your invoice.

CHANGES BY YOU: Should you wish to make any changes to your confirmed booking, you must notify us in writing as soon as possible.  We allow one free amendment anytime up until the final payment is made.  Whilst we endeavour to assist, we can not guarantee we will be able to make such requests.  For any additional changes an amendment fee of $50 USD per person will apply.

CANCELLATION BY YOU: Should you need to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed we must be notified in writing.  Please note that deposit payment is non refundable but can be exchanged to another date.

• Cancellations made 30 days or more from your tour date - Deposit payment forfeited

• Cancellations made within 30 days of your tour date - 100% charges apply

CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS BY US: In the unlikely event that we may need to make significant changes to your booking we reserve the right to do so.

 

If we have made a significant change or cancel, we will inform you as soon as possible. If there is time to do so before your departure we will offer you the choice of the following:

(a) (for significant changes)accepting the changed arrangements or:

(b) Booking an alternative tour.  You must pay the applicable price of any such tour.This may mean paying more if it is more expensive or receiving a refund if cheaper or:

(c) Cancelling, in which case you will receive a full refund of all monies paid.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We will do everything possible to ensure a safe and enjoyable trip. However, all travel involves some degree of risk and we strongly recommend that you take out appropriate travel insurance for your adventure. Your insurance protection should include cover for cancellation, medical and repatriation expenses, personal injury and accident, death and loss of personal baggage and money and personal liability. Evidence of such insurances should be produced on request. Insurance cover offered by credit card companies or reciprocal medical cover agreements are often not comprehensive.

 

FORCE MAJEURE: Except where otherwise stated, we regret we cannot accept liability or pay any compensation where the performance of our obligations is prevented or affected or you otherwise suffer any damage, loss of expense of 'Force Majeure'.  In these T&C's 'Force Majeure' means any event which we could not forsee or avoid. Such events include, whether actual or threatened war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, adverse weather conditions, fire and all similar events outside control.

PRIVACY POLICY: When you travel with us , we want you to have the experience you've been imagining.  To help us do this we need to ask you for personal information but we know how important it is to keep your personal information safe.

We'll only ask you for your personal information directly and we won't share your personal information with third parties for any marketing activities.
